Inspiring Learners To Meet Challenges With Confidence
Hello Students and Parents!! My name is Mrs. Kelsey Morken. I am entering my fourteenth year of teaching and my sixth year at Spring Grove Public Schools.  I am excited to teach Pre-Algebra for 7th graders, Linear Algebra for 8th graders this year.

I graduated high school from Spring Grove, and I headed to Southwestern Community College in Creston, IA and graduated with my Associate of Arts Degree.  I finished my undergrad at Minnesota State University, Mankato with a degree in Elementary Education and a specialty in Middle School Math.  In efforts to continue my lifelong learning goals, I completed my Master's of Education in Teaching and Learning from St. Mary's University of Winona in May of 2015.  I am currently enrolled in Culturally Relevant Student-Centered Learning Courses through Hamline University.

My husband Tim, son Bernt (10), and daughter Kallyn (8) live on a farm north of Spring Grove.  Tim is a busy farmer raising crops, beef cattle and turkeys at Morken Farms, LLC.  When I am not in the classroom, I love to spend time working out, running, hanging out with family and friends, going on gator rides, and being in the gym coaching and watching sporting events.
