Fourth Grade - Sarah Tollefsrud
Hello!  My name is Sarah Tollefsrud and I am thrilled to be back at Spring Grove for year #4 teaching 4th grade!  I am from Mabel and graduated from Mabel-Canton way back in 1997!  After high school, I attended Bethany Lutheran College in Mankato.  I then decided to make a tough decision and travel to another state to continue my education, as well as play basketball for my remaining two years.  It wasn't easy but the experience of my education, playing ball, and the life long friends I have made were priceless.  I graduated from Flagler College in St. Augustine, FL in 2002 with my Elementary Education degree.

After my experience in Florida, I moved back home to get married and start a family soon after.  I did a lot of subbing around our area. The next ten years was a blur and spent time raising our children and establishing an in home daycare business which I really enjoyed.  My love was still teaching however and had an opportunity to work as an Elementary Title Paraprofessional at Mabel-Canton for a year. I am fortunate to say Spring Grove School District was my first teaching job!  I come to work every day excited to be here and to see these students grow and learn!  I have the best job!

I currently live in the country outside of Mabel with my husband Paul, and our four boys.  Paul is a teacher and coach at M-C and our boys are busy as ever.  We are enjoying watching our kids grow up but time sure can slow down a bit!  Jaymeson is an 10th grader, Cayden 8th, Brevyn 4th, and Treyson is a 3rd grader at M-C.

I have coached girls basketball for over 10 years and enjoy sports and being active.   I enjoy running, snowboarding, gardening, music, and spending time with my family and friends.
